Some mirror your typical vinyasa class, but with a creative and focused spin to get you out of your head and into your body. Other workshops are more technical and designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of both the physical mechanics and metaphysical aspects of your practice. Cap your week off with a rejuvenating evening of restorative yoga to melt away stress and strengthen your immune system.
Restorative yoga is for everyone; no yoga experience is necessary!
This style of yoga involves the use of props to position and maintain the body in static postures that require little to no muscular effort.
Restorative poses are held for 5-20 minutes in order to release muscular tension and induce deep states of relaxation.
The workshop will begin with a slow, candlelight, vinyasa flow to warm the body and still the mind.
Next, you will be led through a gentle restorative yoga sequence.
Finally, class will conclude with pranayama (breath work) and guided meditation to leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and blissful.
